Union Communications Agency Enters the Mobile Games Market

According to research firm Newzoo, the global games market exceeded $200 billion in 2025, and mobile games remained the industry’s largest platform, with around 3 billion players and more than half of total revenue. A new player has now joined this growing market: UK-based Union Communications Agency, owner of the globally used eSIM app GetSimLess, has entered the mobile games sector with Dikey 101 Okey and Karelo Çengel Bulmaca. Both games are available on the App Store and Google Play. Union Communications Agency Project Manager Sercan Laçın commented on the growth of the sector and the company’s goals for the period ahead.

TĂ¼rkiye’s games market passes one billion dollars

According to the TĂ¼rkiye Games Industry Report prepared by Gaming in TĂ¼rkiye with the support of Xsolla, the Turkish games market grew by 25 percent in 2025 to reach $1.01 billion. The report notes that mobile games are TĂ¼rkiye’s strongest gaming platform, with $649 million in revenue and 47 million players. A joint report by AppMagic and Gamigion shows that puzzle games clearly lead the mobile revenues of Turkish developers, and according to mobile analytics company Adjust, the average mobile gaming session in TĂ¼rkiye rose to 32.8 minutes in the first half of 2025.

Union Communications Agency’s first two titles match this trend. Dikey 101 Okey brings one of TĂ¼rkiye’s best-loved table games to the mobile screen, while Karelo Çengel Bulmaca appeals to word and puzzle lovers.

Explaining the decision to enter the sector, Sercan Laçın said: “Mobile gaming is no longer just a form of entertainment; it is one of the digital spaces where millions of people spend the most time every day. TĂ¼rkiye is among the world’s most successful countries, especially in puzzle and word games. Our aim was to offer games that everyone knows and loves through a simple, fast and enjoyable experience. We designed games that people can play comfortably even during short breaks, and we will update them regularly based on feedback from our players.”

The GetSimLess experience, carried into games

Union Communications Agency’s move into games builds on the company’s experience with digital products. Its eSIM app GetSimLess, with packages available in more than 190 countries, gives travellers around the world internet access without changing their physical SIM card.

Laçın described the link between the two areas: “With GetSimLess, we learned how to deliver the same quality of service to users in different countries, and we are bringing this user-centred approach to our games. On the GetSimLess side, we will soon announce new features that our users will love. On the games side, we plan to expand our portfolio with new titles in the coming period.”
