International Armored Group, an armoured-vehicle manufacturer with its Turkish production facility in Gemlik, responded to claims in Turkish and Bulgarian media that weapons were being produced. The company stated that it manufactures armoured vehicles only, and that production and shipments are carried out under the supervision of the relevant authorities, with the necessary permits and in line with regulations.
